Amì Cat plant-based cat food from Italy is finally available here in South Africa!
Amì Cat contains the most nutritionally balanced vegan cat food available. Produced with only natural ingredients and contains no animal ingredients, artificial preservatives, GMO’s whatsoever.
Amì Cat is scientifically formulated to ensure your cat is always healthy while complimenting their coats and body. Its a completely balanced vegan pet food that includes Taurine which is an important nutrient for cats.
Ingredients
Corn, Corn gluten, corn oil, rice, pea protein, pea fibre, Brewer’s yeast, dicalcium phosphate, linseed, hydrolysed vegetable protein, potato protein, sodium chloride, calcium carbonate, rapeseed oil.
Analytical components:
Humidity 8.00%, crude protein 33.00%, crude oils and fats 14.00%, crude fiber 3.50%, crude ash 5.90%, magnesium 0.09%, omega 3 fatty acids 0.8% omega 6 fatty acids, 6.5%.
Additives – Nutritional additives:
vitamin A 27,500 IU/kg, vitamin D3 1,600 IU/kg, vitamin E 270 mg/kg, copper sulphate pentahydrate (copper)10 mg/kg, iron carbonate(iron) 186 mg/kg, calcium iodate, anhydrous (iodine) 4 mg/kg, sodium selenite (selenium) 10 mg/kg, zinc oxide (zinc)100 mg/kg, manganous oxide (manganese) 12 mg/kg, taurine 1,500 mg/kg, L-carnitine 300 mg/kg.

I switched my fussy diva-kitties to AMI 2, expecting some push back from them in the form of a food stand-off or swiping the bowl off the counter (it’s been known to happen). I am relieved they seem to have taken to the taste swimmingly, and judging by their weight it’s not adding unwanted grams to their waistlines. This is a fantastic result, as it enables our whole family to take this new plant-based journey together.
