At Vfoods we stand behind the products we sell, especially our range of vegan pet foods.

We also understand that feeding a dog or cat a vegan diet is still a controversial topic even amongst fellow vegans and vegetarians who are still divided in their understanding of a plant-based for dogs and cats. If you want to know where we stand on this please go here.

Therefore we understand that the decision to change your pet’s diet to a plant-based one doesn’t come easily and so we have decided to offer our customers a buyback guarantee on all our pet food products as follows;

Dog Food and Treats

All dog food and treats sold on Vfoods will be offered with a 85% money-back guarantee. If your pup is not happy with his or her food or treat you can return the item via courier at your own expense with at least 75% of the product remaining for a refund of the purchase price of the product only, less 15% for handling fees. We unfortunately can not refund 100% of the cost due to the fees that we pay for picking, packing and shipping your order. (100% less 15% handling = 85%)

Cat Food

All cat food sold on Vfoods will be offered with a 60% money-back guarantee. If your cat is not happy with his or her food you can return the item via courier at your own expense with at least 75% of the product remaining for a  75% refund of the purchase price of the product only,  less 15% for handling fees. (75% less 15% handling = 60%)

Why only 75% and not 100% you ask? Our experience has shown that not all owners are persistent enough with their cats when it comes to changing their food. In some cases, a cat needs a few days or even weeks to try out new food, yes they are that fussy as you would probably know if you’ve tried this before. So although we stand behind our products we still can’t guarantee that either you will try hard enough or your cat isn’t one of the fussiest eaters of them all and will refuse to eat anything new!

How will the returns work?

If after multiple attempts, your paw person just doesn’t love the product, simply seal the bag (for wet food we can’t accept a single opened tin returned unfortunately as it will spoil within a couple of days once opened but we can accept unopened cans if purchased in bulk) and let us know you wish to do a return.

We can arrange for our courier to collect the product from your address and return it to our warehouse. Alternatively, you can use your own courier. Please note that we will not accept product returns that are posted using the post office or any other postal service, it has to be couriered to our warehouse directly.

Once we receive the item we will check it and process your refund which can be either a store credit or eft payment into your bank account, the details of which we will request at that time.

Note: We refund what you paid for the item itself, not the shipping costs. Also, the cost of shipping the item back to us is also deducted from your refund.
